Responsibilities include:
1. Coordinate and conduct work area assessments, surveys, and program evaluations to identify hazardous conditions such as noise, chemicals, indoor air quality, lighting, confined spaces, and ventilation in paint booths.
2. Analyze hazardous conditions and assign risk assessment codes to prioritize and budget corrective actions.
3. Implement and manage the company’s environmental management system, including waste management and hazardous waste activities.
4. Collect, analyze, and maintain safety and environmental data.
5. Evaluate hazardous conditions and recommend engineering controls, administrative controls, or personal protective equipment.
6. Provide statistical and fiscal data on workers’ compensation injuries, maintain records, and prepare reports including trends and needs analysis.
7. Conduct site inspections to ensure environmental, health, and safety compliance.
Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Nursing, or related fields, with at least two years of relevant experience, and accreditation from the Department of Labor and Employment and EMB or MGB.
This is an entry-level, full-time position in Management and Manufacturing within the Equipment Rental Services industry.
