A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a skilled Field Service Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a growing power generation business. This field-based role involves the installation, commissioning, maintenance, fault finding, and repair of generators and associated electrical systems. Youll be both on the business site and on client sites, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, commission, service, and maintain generator systems.
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including control panels, alternators, and switchgear.
* Carry out routine planned maintenance in line with manufacturer specifications.
* Perform load testing, wiring, and system upgrades.
* Provide on-site technical support and advice to clients.
* Accurately complete service reports, job sheets, and client documentation.
* Respond to emergency breakdowns as part of an on-call rota.
* Comply with health & safety policies, regulations, and safe working practices.
Requirements
1. Recognised electrical qualification (NVQ Level 3, HNC, City & Guilds, or equivalent).
