Role Overview
We are currently recruiting Match Day Security Officers to join our team in Nottingham. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy working with the public, and are passionate about ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all spectators.
As a Match Day Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment within the stadium or venue, working as part of a team to ensure compliance with safety procedures and providing a welcoming and professional service to fans.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out security checks at entry points, including bag searches and ticket validation.
* Monitor crowd behaviour to identify and resolve potential safety or security issues.
* Provide clear guidance and assistance to spectators, ensuring a positive match-day experience.
* Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, or conflicts in line with company and venue procedures.
* Work closely with stewards, supervisors, and emergency services when required.
* Maintain a visible and professional security presence throughout the event.
Requirements
* Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
* Previous experience in event or crowd management (desirable but not essential).
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays in line with match fixtures.
