Senior Technical Architect – Infrastructure

Salary: £60,739 - £69,832 plus a location allowance of £1,750 and excellent benefits
Location: Hanslope Park, Milton Keynes (hybrid working)
You’ll design and deliver secure infrastructure solutions across evolving environments. Working across platforms, storage, end‑user computing and core services, you’ll translate architectural direction into practical designs that guide build and implementation.
Responsibilities
* Design and deliver secure infrastructure solutions across multiple platforms and environments.
* Translate architectural direction into practical designs for build and implementation.
* Apply agreed standards and produce high‑quality designs, contributing to roadmaps and reference architectures.
* Lead delivery and act as technical assurance across projects, supporting engineers and product teams.
* Produce clear architecture artefacts, mentor others and provide trustworthy advice to identify risks for stakeholders.
* Foster collaboration, continuous improvement and focus on practical outcomes to keep infrastructure platforms resilient, secure and adaptable.
Qualifications
* Relevant degree or equivalent hands‑on experience in infrastructure architecture.
* Strong experience in designing scalable solutions for VMware and on‑premise platforms.
* Recognised certifications in infrastructure architecture or related fields.
* Ability to produce high‑quality designs and assure complex solutions.
* Security clearance to the highest level required; undergo comprehensive vetting process before joining.
