Amazon’s Brand Innovation Lab is seeking a talented and passionate Conceptual Creative (Art Director) to craft unique campaigns for various brands across Europe. You will collaborate with art directors, copywriters, designers, solutions managers, and producers to create exceptional customer experiences both online and offline, leveraging Amazon’s platforms (Prime Video, Alexa, Twitch, etc.). You will lead projects, manage client relationships, and focus on innovative work that benefits customers from brief to execution. This is a permanent role.
From ideation to launch, you will deliver ambitious, insightful, and data-driven concepts that translate needs into customer-focused brand campaigns. You should excel in both concept development and execution, articulating end-to-end experiences, including video content, UI designs for voice and screen, prototypes, and interactive campaigns. The role requires using data and insights to develop campaign strategies, designs, and templates for innovative brand experiences across Amazon platforms. Candidates must demonstrate high-quality design and art direction skills, with proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, PowerPoint, and Figma (or a willingness to learn Figma). A strong understanding of UX design is also essential.
Your portfolio should showcase interesting, insight-driven campaigns across various media channels such as video, social, digital, radio, and outdoor. Key skills include conceptual thinking, presentation, storytelling, time management, digital media expertise, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
1. Conceptualize, design, and execute innovative ad campaigns and experiences for global brands.
2. Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to create customer-centric solutions.
3. Lead campaigns independently and coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external agencies.
4. Deeply understand customer needs to produce innovative and impactful work.
5. Present ideas and concepts to clients, agencies, and internal stakeholders.
6. Ideate for various media including film, print, digital, out-of-home, experiential, and social channels.
A typical day involves
* Partnering with brands, media, and creative agencies on innovative campaigns for sectors like CPG, electronics, fashion, sports, and luxury.
* Designing brand experiences, from Prime Video documentaries to Alexa branded interactions, aiming for unprecedented ideas.
* Presenting campaigns to clients and partners.
* Reviewing edits, gathering feedback, and ensuring high creative standards.

The Brand Innovation Lab creates unique campaigns for global advertisers like Coca-Cola, Visa, BMW, Microsoft, Adidas, Samsung, and Unilever, utilizing all Amazon platforms (AR/VR, Alexa, Twitch, Prime Video, custom Amazon landing pages, etc.) to reach millions of customers worldwide.
Basic Qualifications
* Experience as a Conceptual Creative (Art Director) at an agency or in-house.
* Online portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking, art direction, and design skills.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, InVision, and basic UX understanding.
* Data-driven approach with measurable campaign impact.
* Excellent presentation and storytelling skills.
* Strong organizational and collaborative abilities.
* Exceptional craft skills and project ownership.
* Interest in innovation and technology.
* Self-motivated, able to manage ambiguity, work independently, and handle multiple projects.
