R&M Electrical Group Ltd are an internationally renowned supplier of Electrical Containment, Pipe Supports and Prefabricated solutions to the Building Services Industry. We are looking to employ an Electrical Bid Manager to join our busy office department in Southampton.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a first‑class service to our European customer base. This will include all aspects of sales, customer service and technical support, in both reactive and pro‑active communications.
About the role
* Proactively maintaining and establishing a high level of customer support to new and existing customers in compliance with the Group’s Sales strategy.
* Generating sales activities to promote the growth of the group in general.
* Responding to and following up sales enquiries using appropriate methods and administering generally according to the Group’s requirements.
* All tasks to be performed in compliance with the Group’s Health & Safety and Quality Control systems.
Key Skills
* Knowledge of the electrical product scope and industry.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Accuracy and attention to detail.
* Good proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
* Ability to work as part of a team, but also with own initiative.
* Ability to function under pressure and understand priorities relating to customer service.
Hours: Monday - Friday; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (one‑hour lunch break).
Salary: Negotiable/Depending on experience.
Branch/Division: R&M F&S / R&M Europe, Unit 6, Central Trading Estate, Marine Parade, Southampton, SO14 5JP.
