Supply Chainernance ManagerRole Description

The purpose of this role is to manage the Supply Chainernance team within the Procurement Development and Analytics Team of the Procurement & Supplier Management Function.

You will work with the Head of Procurement Development and Analytics to define and drive theernance, oversight and enablement framework that is deployed across Procurement & Supplier Management.

The role will lead the development of the Procurement and Supplier Management function'sernance frameworks and processes ensuring that Allianz UK meets all relevant Regulatory requirements and Allianz Group Functional Rules, Standards and Policies.

This is a Hybrid role - multi site working is available, specific location for this role can be discussed at interview.

Salary Information

Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. Salary is only one part of our total reward package.

Circa - £70k

About You

1. Deliver credible and practical advice on the mitigation of risk, interpretation of regulations, regulatory priorities and adoption of policies in the context of supply chain risk management
2. Develop quality assurance andernance to ensure required regulatory and grouppliance
3. Translate Global Policies, Standards and Functional Rules to local ways of working
4. Develop process for ensuring and accurate third-party inventory covering all relevant regulatory requirements.
5. Ensure that AZH meets all relevant Regulatory and Allianz Group requirements
6. Work closely with the COO pillar and safeguarding functions to ensure the required standards are met & embedded
7. Provide ongoing Outsourcing operational support, guidance, and operational subject matter expertise to stakeholders, supporting implementation of key initiatives
8. Lead for Procurement and Supplier Management the Outsourcing notification process to regulatory supervisory authority in accordance with the stipulated timelines set by the regulation
9. Leading on internal audit andpliance actions for Procurement and Supplier Management as required
10. Champion sustainability and ethical sourcing practices within procurement activities to align with Allianz's Global Sustainability strategy

Essential Skills

11. Practical understanding of applicable regulations to a procurement function operating in a UK Financial Services entity
12. Excellent networking and stakeholder management skills at senior and executive levels
13. Knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices
14. Strategic mindset and problem-solving skills
15. Analytical mindset
16. Excellent stakeholder and change management skills.
17. Experience of managing a variety of stakeholders at all levels of the business
18. Understanding of supplier assurance practices
19. Ability tomunicateplex ideas, simply and with impact
20. Influencing Skills
21. People management experience

Desirable Skills

22. Educated to A-level standard or equivalent.
23. Understanding of TPRM
24. Experience of interacting with the PRA, FCA and/ or the Bank of England
25. Experience of aligning cross-country Group vs Local standards
26. Professional qualification MCIPS/FCIPS
