Role Profile:
Square Peg Associates is on the lookout for a committed Accounts Assistant to be a part of our client's top-tier business situated close to Preston. This essential role forms a key component of our client's finance team and encompasses a diverse range of accounting duties.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Purchase Ledger - being the first point of contact for purchase ledger enquiries, setting up new suppliers, ensuring all invoices are checked and entered correctly
2. Weekly payment runs
3. Processing expenses and mileage claims
4. Month end reconciliations
5. Daily bank reconciliations of bank and cash
6. Credit control
7. Ad hoc duties
Candidate Profile: We are looking for a proactive individual who has experience in all facets of accounts management, preferably as an Accounts Assistant or Administrator. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, confident, and capable of working independently within our small finance team.
