We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to`.` drive our Edge Compute Platform strategy. If you have experience with edge computing, distributed systems or large‑scale compute environments, we’d love to hear from you.
About the role
The Edge Infrastructure Product & Engineering team designs, develops and operates all infrastructure used by Tesco Technology across sheath offices, stores and distribution centres. This includes connectivity, end‑user computing, CI/CD and observability, and supports the wider Tesco business.
This is a hybrid position with the flexibility to work from our Farringdon office in London.
You will be responsible for
* Will evolve and drive the product vision, strategy, and the long‑term roadmap
* Will proactively partner with peers and senior stakeholders to set the future direction of the product as part of the wider business strategy
* Understand key user personas, customers & stakeholders for the product and their pain points
* Accountable for conjunta performance/adoption of the product and work towards achieving the Objectives and Key Results (OKRs)
* Prior sickness work and decisively resolve trade‑рансólicos with peers and senior leaders
* Effectively document and explain new requirements to the engineering team using user stories with acceptance criteria and help break down complex work into smaller deliverable chunks that can be delivered faster
* Steer sprint/release planning sessions by working with engineering counterparts to plan releases that deliver maximum business value with the least effort
* Drive acceptance and adoption of ideas and improvements with product teams and engineering stakeholders
* Prioritise, coordinate and communicate the resolution of live product issues independently
* Provide leadership and direction to cross‑functional teams on short‑term tasks and near‑term priorities
* Be the subject matter expert for the product, building on a history of delivering value to customers
