Shropshire Council is seeking an IPS Quality Officer to support the delivery of a high-quality IPS service across Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior IPS Specialist and the Enable team to ensure services meet high standards of compliance and quality assurance. Responsibilities also include managing data, performance monitoring, and feedback mechanisms to continually improve the service.
Location: The primary work base will be New Zealand House, Shrewsbury, with occasional work from community bases.
Contract: Fixed Term until 31.03.2025, for 21 hours per week.
Hours: Office hours are 7am - 7pm Monday - Friday and 8am - 1pm Saturday, with at least a 30-minute lunch break. Some occasional work outside these hours may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
* Compliance & Quality Assurance: Develop and monitor quality assurance systems aligned with IPS Fidelity standards. Coordinate documentation, appointments, and itineraries for Enable Fidelity Reviews and Contract Review Meetings. Ensure all quality assurance documentation is accessible. Produce KPI reports and present them in various formats. Collect and analyze client feedback to enhance services.
* Data Assurance: Maintain electronic data storage and generate regular monitoring reports for stakeholders. Present data at team meetings and monitor client equality and diversity metrics.
* Relationship Management: Build and sustain effective relationships with internal and external agencies. Promote and profile the service, deliver communication strategies, and gather employment recovery stories.
* Client Caseload Management: Manage a small caseload and process service referrals.
* Continuous Improvement: Keep up-to-date with vocational rehabilitation practices and contribute to training initiatives.
Job requirements - what you will bring to the role:
* A good level of education. Experience in quality and compliance within a welfare-to-work environment is desirable, but training will be provided.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills focused on achieving positive outcomes.
* Willingness to travel to other offices as required.
* A customer-focused approach to service delivery, ensuring engagement with service users and maintaining professionalism.
