Banana Moon Day Nurseries is excited to offer a Nursery Apprentice position at our vibrant and nurturing setting! This role is perfect for individuals eager to embark on a fulfilling career in early childhood education while receiving comprehensive training and support.
As a Nursery Apprentice, you will collaborate with our dedicated team of childcare professionals, helping to create a safe, stimulating, and fun environment for children aged 0-5 years. This apprenticeship will involve hands-on experience in daily activities that promote children's learning and development through play.
Key Responsibilities:
* Engage with children in play and learning activities
* Assist with the observation and assessment of children's development
* Support the implementation of the nursery's curriculum
* Help maintain a clean and organized nursery space
* Contribute to snack times, meals, and rest periods
* Work closely with families to build supportive relationships

Requirements
* A passion for working with children and supporting their development
* Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and parents
* Willingness to learn and cooperate with team members
* No prior experience necessary; enthusiasm and a positive attitude are key!
* Eligibility to undertake a DBS check
