Key responsibilities for the Dispute Resolution Solicitor include:
* Managing all litigation and dispute resolution matters efficiently from start to finish
* Handling assigned casework promptly and with attention to detail
* Ensuring timely recording of all billable hours and overseeing billing and payment processes
* Managing routine correspondence, negotiations, and advocacy where appropriate
* Collaborating closely with colleagues across departments to deliver comprehensive client service
* Analysing legal issues and advising clients on the best course of action
* Demonstrating knowledge and experience in property litigation (landlord possession claims, disrepair, tenancy disputes, leasehold issues, service charge disputes, and breaches of lease covenants)
* Possessing experience in commercial litigation including contractual claims
* Advocacy experience at county court or tribunal is advantageous but not essential
* Working with privately paying clients including individuals and small to medium-sized businesses
* Showing willingness to engage in business development activities
* Maintaining a strong track record of building and sustaining client relationships
* Supporting the continued growth and success of the dispute resolution team
