The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in spaceborne GNC system and space systems engineering in this area, particularly within the context of the European Space Agency (ESA) programs.
This role will involve leading technical efforts in the design, development and implementation of advanced embedded navigation systems for Lunar and Martian missions, which include:-
•Lead GMV’s participation in ESA programs such as Moonlight, Marconi, and ArgoNet-NovaMoon, and incorporate relevant technologies into flight navigation systems.
•Lead the design, development, and implementation of GNC systems for Lunar and Mars exploration missions.
•Develop and optimize algorithms for Position Navigation and Timing (PNT) and signal processing for Lunar and Martian navigation.
•Design and implement spaceborne Navigation algorithms ( based on Kalman filters)
•Oversee the development and validation of software-defined radio (SDR) based navigation receivers, ensuring compatibility with spacecraft systems.
•Collaborate with spacecraft system engineers to integrate spaceborne navigation systems with other spacecraft subsystems.
•Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.
•Manage projects from conception through to completion, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints
