Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team at 247 Home Care. In this role, you will provide essential support to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort and well-being while delivering high-quality care tailored to their individual needs.
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
* Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals and family members.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behavior.
* Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare staff to ensure continuity of care.
* Adhere to health and safety regulations while providing care in clients' homes.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a healthcare or home care setting is preferred.
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
* Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating effectively.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* A compassionate approach with a genuine desire to help others.
