Overview
A mainstream primary school in Walthamstow is seeking an enthusiastic and committed teaching assistant to work with a Year 2 pupil who has ADHD and social-emotional difficulties. The school is large and caters to a range of SEN needs, including ADHD, SEMH and global delay.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 support for the Year 2 pupil, ensuring access to learning and helping them progress at school.
* Help manage the pupil’s behavioural needs by establishing clear boundaries and routines.
Requirements
* Experience working with children with ADHD or SEMH is desirable but not essential.
* Available to commit for the full academic year.
* Full-time role, 8:00am–4:00pm, Monday to Friday.
