About the Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and motivated TIG & MIG Welder Fabricator to join the team in Corby. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled welder to work within a busy engineering environment producing high-quality fabrication work.
Key Responsibilities
1. Carry out TIG and MIG welding to a high standard
2. Fabricate and assemble metal components from engineering drawings
3. Work with stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium
4. Inspect finished welds to ensure quality standards are met
5. Operate fabrication machinery and hand tools safely
6. Maintain a clean and organised workspace
7. Follow all health & safety procedures
Requirements
8. Previous experience in TIG and MIG welding
9. Ability to read and understand technical drawings
10. Strong fabrication and finishing skills
11. Good attention to detail and quality control
12. Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently or within a team
Desirable Skills
13. Welding qualifications or certifications
14. Experience within a manufacturing or engineering environment
15. Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication
