Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and develop the strategic relationship with a key national Discounter retailer
* Drive sales growth and profitability across the full product portfolio
* Develop and implement joint business plans with the customer
* Lead negotiations on trading terms, promotional activity, and new product listings
* Collaborate with internal teams including marketing, supply chain, and finance to deliver exceptional results
* Analyse market trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions
The Ideal Candidate:
We are seeking an experienced National Account Manager with a proven track record in FMCG sales. The successful candidate will have:
* Significant experience managing national accounts in the UK retail sector
* Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
* Excellent negotiation and influencing abilities
* A strategic mindset with the ability to build and maintain senior-level relationships
* Experience in category management and trade marketing
Location:
Remote based role. The ideal candidate will be based in the South East and can travel to London to meet with Lidl when required and occasional office meetings (also in London)
Package:
£60,000 - 64,000 + £Cash Car Allowance + Bonus + Benefits
