The post-holder will participate in the delivery of care to patients in the Optometry department and Dispensing Opticians as directed and delegatedbythequalifiedStaff.
Thepost-holderwillcontributeto thesmoothrunningoftheclinics and co-ordination of patients as directed by the qualified Ophthalmic, medical and nursing staff.
Assist in Optometry clinics; room set up, maintenance of contact lens fitting sets, teaching patients how to insert and remove contact lenses, low vision aid stock and teaching use of low vision aids, assisting in spectacle frame selection and writing up spectacle orders, checking the HES optical vouchers, contact lens orders, organisation of Optometry staff rota, Join Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust (MFT) and become part of a 30,000 plus strong team, delivering exceptional care to over 1 million people every year.
