We are seeking a skilled Production Welder to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in MIG welding. The position is fully paid and suitable for individuals committed to maintaining safety standards and delivering excellent craftsmanship. You will need to be able to weld black and coated light gauge steel tube and box sections 1.0mm/1.5mm and plate up to 8 mm. We require a person with good time keeping and attendance. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on a variety of materials. Fabricate and assemble components using Jigs, hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment. Work with steel tube, box section, steel plate. Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues during fabrication and assembly processes. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Assist in the setup and calibration of welding equipment to ensure optimal performance. Conduct quality checks on completed welds and assemblies to meet company standards. Requirements Proven experience in MIG welding, with a strong emphasis on welding techniques. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment. Being able to use Jigs, assembly processes, and basic mechanical principles Strong attention to detail and quality in all work performed.
