Early Years Teaching Assistant
Location: South Shields
Pay Scale: £80- £100 per day
Start: ASAP
Contract: Part-Time/Full-Time
GSL education is looking for a dedicated and caring individual who is passionate about early childhood education as an Early Years Teaching Assistant to join our wonderful school community in South Shields.
Job summary:
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the class teacher in planning a rich educational experience for our youngest students. This includes supporting classroom activities and helping children with their social and emotional development and keeping an atmosphere that is warm and nurturing.
Key responsibilities:
* Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
* Support children's learning and development through age-appropriate activities.
* Help prepare and organize classroom materials and resources.
* Monitor and record children's progress along with providing feedback.
* Provide a positive environment that encourages children to explore and learn.
* Ensure the safety and well-being of children.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with young children in an educational setting.
* Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare.
* A proactive and adaptable way to deal with children.
* Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
