Overview
Electronic Assembly Technician – Gloucester – Permanent role. Salary: £30,000 - £36,000.
Electronic Assembly Technician required by a leading manufacturing company, based in Gloucester. The successful candidate will be responsible for working from technical drawings to assemble and test electronic and electromechanical products.
Responsibilities
* Working closely with the engineering team to build prototype products.
* Working from technical drawings and instructions.
* Preparation of kit prior to assembly.
* Assembly of cables and harnesses.
* PCB assembly and soldering to IPC standards.
* Using a variety of electronic test equipment.
* Inspection of products and reworking when required.
Qualifications
* Previous experience of electromechanical assembly and test.
* IPC qualified or equivalent or equivalent experience.
* Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
* The ability to work on own initiative.
* Strong communication skills.
