Are you a versatile and nurturing teacher with a passion for inclusive education? The Education Network is working closely with a highly supportive Medical Needs & SEN school to recruit a dedicated KS3 Science Teacher who can also deliver Humanities and English to students with a range of medical, emotional, and neurodiverse needs.
This is a rare opportunity to join a specialist setting that prioritises well-being, therapeutic support, and personalised learning. You’ll be teaching small groups of KS3 pupils who are unable to access mainstream education due to long-term medical conditions, mental health challenges, or SEN needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and differentiated KS3 Science lessons, along with Humanities and English where required
Adapt the curriculum to support students with diverse learning needs and EHCPs
Build strong, trusting relationships with students, providing emotional and academic support
Work collaboratively with SENCOs, therapists, support staff, and families
Contribute to a nurturing, trauma-informed learning environmentWhat We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) – ECTs welcome to apply
Experience teaching Science, with confidence in delivering Humanities and English at KS3
A patient, flexible, and empathetic teaching approach
Experience in SEN, PRU, alternative provision, or medical needs settings is highly desirable
