We are seeking an Interim Assistant Financial Accountant for a 12-month fixed-term contract at their Solihull office.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts.
2. Calculate and post accruals, prepayments, and other adjustments during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
3. Review and reconcile key profit and loss nominal ledger accounts.
4. Prepare balance sheet reconciliations as part of the month-end close.
5. Support monthly reporting, including variance analysis and commentary for Group reporting.
6. Ensure accurate processing of invoices and resolve queries related to outstanding invoices.
7. Discuss and assist in preparing quarterly VAT returns.
8. Provide knowledge around the preparation of statutory accounts and corporate tax returns.
