Behaviour Mentor – Primary School (B29 Area)

Are you passionate about supporting children to overcome behavioural challenges and thrive in a school environment? Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting for a dedicated Behaviour Mentor to work within a welcoming primary school in the B29 area.
The Role:
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with pupils who require additional support to manage their behaviour and engage positively with their learning. You will play a key role in promoting a safe, structured, and supportive environment that enables every child to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with behavioural needs
* Implement behaviour management strategies in line with school policies
* Build positive, trusting relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
* Support pupils in developing social and emotional skills
* Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
* Monitor and record pupil progress and behaviour
Requirements:
* Experience working with children, ideally within a school setting
* Strong behaviour management skills
* A calm, patient, and resilient approach
* Ability to build rapport and act as a positive role model
* Relevant qualifications or training (desirable but not essential)
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
