Health & Safety Manager
Monday - Friday (40 hours per week)

We are seeking a Health & Safety Manager to lead efforts in maintaining a safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible workplace. If you are passionate about safety, eager to implement change, and thrive in a fast-paced food production setting—this opportunity is for you.
Responsibilities:
* Champion site-wide health, safety, and environmental compliance
* Lead and improve all HSE systems and training to foster a proactive safety culture
* Conduct risk assessments, audits, and incident investigations
* Implement sustainability initiatives and oversee environmental performance (waste, energy, carbon)
* Coordinate with regulators, prepare for audits, and ensure ISO 14001 compliance
* Develop and test emergency response plans
Qualifications:
* NEBOSH Diploma / NVQ Level 5/6 (or equivalent)
* At least 5 years of HSE management experience, preferably in food manufacturing
* In-depth knowledge of UK HSE legislation and auditing standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001)
* Proven success in transforming safety culture
* Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement skills
* Proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a commitment to continuous improvement
