About the Role: As a Learning Support Assistant, you will support students in the classroom, assisting with learning activities, providing guidance, and helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to ensure each student receives the help they need to succeed. Responsibilities: Support students with learning activities, adapting tasks to meet individual needs. Encourage independence, engagement, and confidence in students. Assist teachers in delivering lessons and classroom management. Monitor and report on student progress, behaviour, and engagement. Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external professionals to provide consistent support. Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment. Support students’ social and emotional development alongside academic learning. Qualifications: Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or similar role is preferred. Understanding of supporting students with additional needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of students.
