Your role
We are a team of experienced and passionate professionals who specialize in identifying and creating new opportunities for business expansion. We collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure alignment of objectives and expectations. We work together, support each other, and celebrate our achievements. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will be responsible for driving sustainable financial growth through initiating sales and forging strong relationships with clients.
Your focus
Support the marketing and business development strategy for the business
Monitoring the pipeline of opportunities to grow the business, with a particular focus on London, Jersey and Luxembourg
Drive the sales process from arranging business meetings with or providing RRPs to prospective clients, to prepare risk assessments to ensure adherence to corporate sales guidelines and to issue offers based on the fee simulator
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
Represent the brand and build long-term relationships with new prospective clients
Work with client relationship directors and teams to generate potential revenue opportunities for business
Oversee and work with the communications team to produce high calibre sales and marketing collaterals
Work with director teams, and use own knowledge of the market and competitors, to identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators. Prepare and present business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress on strategy and status of pipeline of opportunities.
Your experience
5 years+ in Business development within the Alternative Investment market with specific experience in fund and corporate administration
Proven sales track record. Excellent presentation skills and communication skills
Highly technical and analytical, capable of understanding the complexities of a financial services environment
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills; the ability to manage, maintain and build trusted, lasting and rewarding relationships
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
Market knowledge
Communication and negotiation skills
Showing attention to detail, including in delivering accurate reporting
All individuals are assigned responsibility for assisting in the overall information security and data protection environment. This includes attending and completing all mandatory information security and data protection training and complying with all applicable policies and procedures.
Any questions or issues should be escalated in a timely manner to designated individuals, or if in doubt, consultation should take place with the relevant line manager.
