Our Leisure Club Assistants support in providing a successful Health & Fitness offering to members and guests, promoting and supporting behavioural change in achieving fitness goals and the benefits of healthy living. The role reports directly to the Leisure Club Manager and is part of a team based at our hotel in Ipswich.
Leisure Club Assistant responsibilities include:
1. Ensuring the club is always presented in the appropriate condition by completing correct daily, weekly, and monthly checks.
2. Achieving new member sales, renewals, and net membership growth metrics.
3. Supporting the Club Management Team in local marketing initiatives to drive new member sales, membership headcount, and the club's position in the community.
4. Demonstrating a pro-active approach to Health & Safety and supporting the Club Management Team regarding the Sustainable Safety Group (SSG) audit.
5. Undertaking cash handling duties and submitting reports to hotel finance.

What you’ll bring to the team
This role is ideal for someone eager to demonstrate their skills and develop their career, with some experience in leisure, fitness, or spa wellness industry preferred but not essential.
The ideal candidate may hold one or more of the following qualifications:
* Pool Water Safety Qualification of Pool Responder
* First Aid at Work Qualification
* CIMSPA fitness professional qualification of Level 2 or above
* Health & Fitness / Leisure Industry Qualification of Level 3 or above
