Job Description
3. Prepare accurate and timely management accounts, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
4. Assist in budget preparation and monitor financial performance against targets.
5. Provide detailed financial analysis and reports to support organisational decision-making.
6. Oversee month-end and year-end financial processes, ensuring all reconciliations are completed.
7. Manage cash flow forecasting and ensure effective cash management strategies are in place.
8. Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and cost control.
9. Support external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to queries.
10. Identify opportunities for process improvement within the accounting and finance function.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
11. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, or ACA).
12. Experience in management accounting within the not-for-profit sector or similar environments.
13. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
14. Proficiency in using accounting software and advanced knowledge of Excel.
15. An understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards.
16. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
