The Role
This is a practical, field-based role for a qualified HGV driver with a proactive approach. You’ll operate specialist vacuum tankers and HGVs to carry out essential maintenance and cleaning services, supporting both planned and emergency work across a range of industrial and infrastructure sites.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive and operate HGVs and vacuum tankers
* Assist in cleaning, waste removal, and spill management tasks
* Handle suction hoses and remove waste and debris (manual handling required)
* Work on wet wells, tanks, siphons, and other wastewater assets
* Operate vacuum units, booms, and other specialist equipment
* Complete vehicle checks and digital job reports
* Maintain vehicles and equipment in excellent condition
* Travel and occasional overnight stays required
* Participate in an on-call rota as needed
Ideal Candidate
* Full UK Class C (HGV) licence
* Strong work ethic and physically fit
* Comfortable working outdoors and in varied environments
* Flexible with travel and time away from home
* Eligible to work in the UK

* Street Works (NRSWA)
* CSCS Site Safety Card
