Your Next Opportunity: Senior Associate, Middle Office
We’re excited to invite a future team member to join our Operations team as a Senior Associate, Middle Office. This role is based in Manchester and offers a HYBRID work environment.
What You'll Do:
In this impactful role, you will:
* Oversee quality control of processing, work allocation, and workflow for the Middle Office team and outsourced functions.
* Review and approve work conducted by junior team members, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
* Analyze and research complex transactions, providing solutions to intricate inquiries.
* Act as a subject matter expert, conducting research on multifaceted transactions and addressing escalated inquiries.
* Facilitate the maintenance of trade static data, trade enrichment, and exception handling.
* Conduct complex reconciliations analysis, resolving breaks and trade fails.
* Participate in monthly end-client statement workflows, ad hoc reporting, and incident management.
* Identify and escalate issues affecting the accuracy of the Investment Book of Record (IBOR).
* Provide guidance to less experienced team members.
* Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve account reconciliations for complex transactions.
* Regularly interact with clients to answer questions and resolve multifaceted inquiries.
What We’re Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should have:
* A Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 5-7 years of relevant work experience preferred.
* While there are no direct reports, you will provide guidance to less experienced Middle Office staff as needed.
