The post involves working closely with nursing staff, other health professionals, carers and relevant individuals. A commitment to team working is essential within a multi disciplinary team approach.
The post holder should be able to demonstrate effective clinical reasoning skills, apply theory to practice and communicate effectively with patients, their carers and colleagues alike.
In return, the successful candidate will be supported to utilise evidence based practice, have the opportunity to contribute to developing innovative services in a team based environment. The successful candidate will also receive regular supervision and will be encouraged to utilise reflective practice.
You will be expected to have a working knowledge of the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO) and complete assessments, care-plans and deliver a range of intervention within the unit setting.
