We are a leading global brand dedicated to creating Smart, Helpful, and Bold baby gear since 2007. Our business has continued to grow exponentially, and we are looking for a Senior Brand Manager (m/f/d) to join the team. The Senior Brand Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping how Nuna shows up across the UK. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development and execution of consumer-focused marketing strategies that drive both brand awareness and commercial performance.
You will work closely with retail partners and external agencies, delivering integrated campaigns across all key touchpoints. A creative yet commercially minded brand leader you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end success of strategic brand initiatives working and reporting directly into the UK marketing Lead.
This role is a 9–12 month maternity cover position and is office-based, Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
What you\'ll do
Strategic Brand & Marketing Planning:
* Develop consumer and customer relevant, annual marketing plans that encompasses advertising, point of sale, digital communications, influencer partnerships. VIP and influencer engagements all aligned to drive sales, profitability and long term brand health for Nuna.
* Build a deep understanding of the Nuna brand and its luxury minded audience, placing brand awareness at the heart of strategic planning. Lead the development of the local annual brand and promotional calendar ensuring all initiatives reflect Nuna’s premium positioning and connect meaningfully with our target customer.
* Support the management of the marketing budget including any additional partner funded allocations in close collaboration with the UK Marketing Lead ensuring resources are effectively prioritized and aligned with business objectives.
Research and Analytics:
* Monitor internal performance metrics such as revenue, profit margins, and sales trends across retailers to inform strategic planning
* Constantly review competitor activity in terms of; pricing, promotions and product placement.
* Analysis of sales activity of national and independent retailers. Working closely with the sales team to execute plans for growth.
* Monitor brand perception through retail partners to ensure we maintain premium and aligned across all key touchpoints
* Identification of new opportunities and retailers to maximise potential and profitability.
* Build and manage relationships with key trade partners, to support sales teams and account teams effectively.
* Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities whether via new retailers, untapped audiences, or via new market segments to support commercial success.
Agency Management
* Lead the development and execution of local annual consumer and customer marketing communication plans across promotional, digital, print, and social channels. Collaborate closely with local and global teams to ensure marketing programs are aligned and consistently implemented.
* Act as the primary point of contact for the allocated media agency ensuring all plans are strategically aligned with Nuna’s brand objectives. Deliver clear, structured direction and provide timely briefings to ensure seamless execution across all touchpoints.
* Brief the internal creative agency and project manager through online workflow platforms on required assets to support campaign delivery and business needs. This includes POS materials, retail shop in shop fixtures, physical marketing assets, and any additional collateral required by the broader marketing functions team.
Trade, Retail Marketing & Events
* Lead the identification and submission process for industry awards, ensuring optimal product positioning and strong representation across key categories.
* Oversee delivery of retailer specific activations, including in store marketing, shop in shops, window displays, and brand experiences ensuring all executions align with Nuna’s premium aesthetic.
* Partner with key trade and retail partners to provide bespoke marketing support tailored to local opportunities and audiences.
* Support project management and planning and execution of annual major trade shows, pop-ups, or retail events, including asset creation, stand design, product messaging, and on-the-ground marketing support.
* Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of trade and retail marketing initiatives, using insights to optimise future activations and maximise ROI.
* Identify opportunities for innovative retail activations and partnerships, including experiential marketing and influencer led in store events, to enhance brand engagement.
What you\'ll bring
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
* Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in brand management, marketing, or a similar role
* Proven track record in developing and executing brand strategies across multiple channels (digital, social, retail, ATL/BTL)
* Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets and contributing to business performance
* Experience using data and consumer insights to inform strategy and decision making
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and external partners
* Experience working with creative, media, and PR agencies
* Strong project management and organisational skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience managing direct reports or leading teams
* Detail oriented with a high level of ownership and entrepreneurial spirit.
