Your New RoleAs Senior HR Advisor (Employee Relations), you will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our people strategy. Acting as the senior operational expert under the HR Manager, you’ll lead onplex employee relations matters, performance management, absence cases, and staff welfare. You’ll also:
1. Provide strategic and day-to-day HR advice to managers across the organisation on all aspects of employer relations and HR advice.
2. Lead and develop a small HR team, supporting their growth and wellbeing
3. Drive improvements in HR processes and systems
4. Stay ahead of employment law and sector trends, ensuringpliance and best practice
5. Champion initiatives that enhance employee wellbeing and engagement
6. Support the review and enhancement of employee benefits
This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a purpose-led organisation where your voice and expertise will be valued.What You’ll Need to SucceedWe’re looking for a confident andpassionate HR professional who can balance empathy with sound judgement. You will have:
7. At least 5 years’ experience in a generalist HR role, with strong ER expertise across grievance, disciplinary, investigations, absence, sickness, performance,
8. CIPD Level 5 qualification (or equivalent)
9. Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
10. Ideally - Experience managing or mentoring HR team members
11. Excellentmunication and interpersonal skills
12. Strong decision-making ability inplex and sensitive situations
13. Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office tools
