Overview
We are looking to appoint a new Teaching Assistant at Mildenhall College Academy. The ideal candidate will strive to share their passion for education with our students and join our dedicated team to uphold the Academy’s vision and values.
Role details
* Contract Type: Permanent
* Hours: 24 hours per week / 4 days per week / 39 weeks per year
* NJC Scale: 2 - 4
* Actual Salary: £13,620 - £14,050 / FTE Salary: £24,412 - £25,184
* Closes: Tuesday 21st October at 9am or sooner should we receive sufficient applicants

What you'll do
The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, patient, and able to use their own initiative, to support students in the classroom to ensure that they are making progress academically, socially, and emotionally. You will work to establish supportive relationships with students, help raise their self-esteem and develop a positive attitude to learning within a secondary Academy, and relish the opportunity to work with young people in a vibrant and dynamic learning environment.
Responsibilities include supporting teaching and learning by facilitating progress and ensuring students are making gains across academic, social, and emotional development. Prior experience in a relatable role within an educational establishment is desirable but not essential. This role requires a grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Maths.
