Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Helpdesk Administrator to join the facilities management team at a prestigious client site in Bracknell. This is a fully site-based role and a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative and customer service experience, particularly within facilities management or a helpdesk environment.
The Role
As Helpdesk Administrator, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the FM Helpdesk, ensuring efficient service delivery, high standards of compliance, and consistent communication with both internal teams and the client. You’ll be working closely with engineering, soft services, and subcontractors to support operations across the account.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as first point of contact for all helpdesk queries via phone and email
* Log and manage service requests using CAFM systems
* Liaise with internal teams and subcontractors to follow up on work orders
* Monitor compliance across the portfolio and support statutory documentation processes
* Coordinate inductions and issue Authority to Work (ATW) permits
* Maintain and improve reporting processes and data accuracy
* Support internal and external audit preparation
* Assist with producing management reports and tracking service performance
* Provide general administrative support to site and account management teams
* Ensure alignment with HSE procedures and promote a culture of safety
Skills & Experience
Essential:
* Previous experience in a customer service or helpdesk role
* Strong administrative background
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* High attention to detail and process-driven approach
Desirable:
* Experience in facilities management or compliance environments
* Familiarity with CAFM systems such as Si7 or IFM Hub
* Understanding of statutory compliance in FM settings
* Relevant vocational or administrative qualifications
Additional Information:
This role is based at Jealott’s Hill, Bracknell, with no hybrid or remote options. Candidates must be comfortable working on-site full time.
