Description
* Responsible for all financial reporting and managing the period end processes, ensuring MI is reconciled to and understood against financial reporting, ensuring accurate and timely production of all financial reporting, management accounts, periodic reporting and variance analysis .
* Responsible for monthly, quarterly, annual financial and non-financial management and KPI reporting.
* Working closely with the Head of Operational Finance, Operations Finance manager and business leads, responsible for the production of forecasts, budgets, long term plans.
* Delivering insightful ad hoc financial analysis in relation to expenditure, and challenge performance across the business.
* Supporting the Finance Senior Management Team and the wider business in ensuring the financial systems and controls financial processes, reporting and other related activity are appropriate and robust, and developed in line with business needs.
* Responsibility for the accuracy and reporting of the balance sheet in relation to relevant Supply Chain activity including, stock, accruals, prepayments, intercompany and control accounts, ensuring strong financial control in this area.
* Communicating with the external auditors and ensuring delivery of audit requirements throughout the year, playing a key role in managing the audit process for Supply Chain areas.
Profile
* ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualified accountant, with at least 3 years post qualified experience.
* Strong experience of Financial Control, covering ledger accounting and reporting, accruals, prepayments, provisions and intercompany accounting is essential.
* Experience of financial planning, modelling and forecasting, including P&L, Balance sheet and Cashflow, and tools and techniques to support such activity.
* Experience of staff management, coaching and team development
* Strong interpersonal and management skills
* Confident, enthusiastic approach with a can-do attitude
* Motivated to continuously improve and achieve excellence.
* Excellent communication skills, incorporating written, verbal, presentation and reporting at varying levels
* Good relationship builder, with the ability to inspire and influence and challenge colleagues at all levels of the business
* Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, in particular Advanced Excel and Power point skills.
Job Offer
* Competitive salary in the range of £55000 to £60000 per annum plus package.
