Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for compliance and governance? Southern Water is looking for a
WW Governance & Assurance Coordinator
to support our Wastewater Governance & Assurance team in delivering first-line assurance across wastewater operations.
What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you'll:
* Coordinate regulatory reports and wastewater-related communications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
* Support assurance activities across pollution, EA requirements, and Compliance Assessment Reports (CAR).
* Help identify operational risks and recommend improvements to compliance and effectiveness.
* Assist in preparing executive and regulatory reporting outputs, ensuring validation and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
* Regulatory reporting coordination and communication management
* Risk identification and control implementation
* First-line assurance support
* Executive and regulatory reporting preparation.
What You'll Bring
* Basic understanding of wastewater operations
* Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
* Excellent analytical and numerical capabilities
* High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
* Clear and effective communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* Familiarity with reporting tools such as Power BI or Pentana
* Experience in a regulated industry (utilities, environmental services)
* A-levels or equivalent qualification, or relevant technical/operational experience.
There will be a requirement to work on a rota.
