Teaching Assistant – Immediate Start
Location: Wellingborough, Northamptonshire
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday

A welcoming and supportive school in Wellingborough is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. The ideal candidate will be caring, proactive, and confident working with children across different age groups.

Key Responsibilities:
* Support the class teacher with day-to-day classroom activities
* Work with small groups or individual pupils to support learning
* Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Assist with preparing resources and classroom materials
* Provide support for pupils with additional or special educational needs (where required)

Requirements:
* Previous experience in a school or education setting preferred
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A positive, flexible and patient attitude
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
* Availability for an immediate start

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
