About the Role We are looking forcompassionate and resilient Child Residential Support Worker's to join our dedicated team, supporting children aged 511 in a residential setting. This role focuses on providing trauma-informed care to children with a range of emotional and behavioural needs, helping them feel safe, valuedand supported in their daily lives. You will play a key role in building positive, long-term relationships with the children, creating a nurturing and structured environment where they can thrive. An onsite school forms part of the settingand you will support children in maintaining routines and engaging positively with their education. Key Responsibilities Supporting children with daily routines, including getting up, preparing for schooland bedtime Assisting with mealtimes and promoting healthy habits Planning and engaging in play, activities and enrichment opportunities Providing consistent emotional support using a trauma-informed approach Managing and responding calmly to challenging behaviours Working collaboratively with the wider team to provide stability and continuity of care Building trusting, long-term relationships that promote positive outcomes Shift Patterns Core shifts: 7:30am 10:30pm Weekday variations may include: 7:30am 2:30pm 2:30pm 10:30pm 1 sleep-in shift per week required Requirements A calm, patientand resilient nature Ability to manage challenging behaviours in a professional and supportive manner Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle Experience working with children in settings such as residential care, schools, youth work, SENor family support Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one) What We Offer Opportunity to complete the Level 3 Childrens Residential Qualification Full training, including restraint and physical intervention (Team Teach) Ongoing professional development and support A rewarding role where you can make a real difference in childrens lives If you are passionate about supporting children and want to be part of a caring and committed team, we would love to hear from you.
