Erewash North Adult Social Work Team are looking to recruit two qualified social workers. Each post is full time.
This is a busy team based in the community and consists of Social Workers and Social Care Practitioners who work closely with partner agencies.
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the necessary skills, knowledge, and experience to undertake this role in order to provide a safe, accountable, cost effective and efficient service to our clients which helps them to achieve their outcomes. Key responsibilities will include carrying out Care Act 2014 assessments and reviews for individuals with complex needs as well as arranging the provision of services to meet eligible needs. It is expected that you will be committed to working in a person centred and strengths-based way with clients and their families to maintain and maximise their independence.
An understanding and experience of safeguarding is also essential as well as experience of undertaking capacity assessments in accordance with the Mental Capacity Act 2005. There is an expectation that you will act as duty worker on a rota basis.
