The RoleWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone enthusiastic about finance and ready to contribute to a dynamic and supportive environment.You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and up-to-date ledger, meeting monthly KPIs, and supporting the Purchase Ledger Administrator when needed.Key Responsibilities:
* Managing credit stops and order releases
* Responding to account-related emails
* Handling incoming calls
* Opening new customer accounts
* Chasing outstanding payments
* Processing card payments and allocating cash
* Assisting the Purchase Ledger Administrator as required
The PersonThis role is ideal for someone ambitious, organised, and eager to learn. You should be comfortable working under pressure and meeting deadlines, with a strong attention to detail.Essential Skills:
* Excellent IT, communication, and organisational skills
* Resilience and the ability to handle challenging situations
* Ability to work to deadlines under pressure
Desirable Skills:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, VLookups)
* Experience with SAGE or other ERP systems
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships
