In this role, you'll be teaching and mentoring students in boat building and marine engineering. The ideal candidate will be someone from a boat building or marine engineering background, with strong hands‑on experience in constructing, repairing, or maintaining boats, who is now looking to move into education. Full training and qualifications will be provided, so no previous teaching experience is required.

The Role:
* Deliver practical and classroom-based training in boat building and marine engineering
* Teach a range of skills including construction, repair, and maintenance of vessels

* Contribute to course development and continuous improvementSupport work placements and industry links
The Person:
* Background in boat building, marine engineering, or similar hands‑on trade
* Experience working with materials such as wood, composites, or metals
* Level 3 qualification (or willingness to work towards)
* Teaching qualification (or willingness to gain – fully supported)
* Good practical skills, attention to detail, and communication
* Looking to move into a more stable, long‑term, and rewarding role
