Overview
We are seeking an experienced and inspirational Team Manager to lead our Children's disabilities team, driving high‑quality social care services that safeguard and support children with disabilities, young people and their families. You will provide strong leadership, oversee complex decision‑making, champion integrated working across SEND, health and education, and ensure excellent practice through effective supervision, performance oversight and restorative, child‑friendly approaches. This is a key role shaping service development, managing resources, promoting independence pathways into adulthood, and ensuring that the voices of children and families inform everything we do. Responsibilities
* Provide strong leadership to the Children’s Disabilities team and drive high‑quality social care services that safeguard and support children with disabilities, young people and their families.
* Oversee complex decision‑making and champion integrated working across SEND, health and education.
* Ensure excellent practice through effective supervision, performance oversight and restorative, child‑friendly approaches.
* Shape service development, manage resources, and promote independence pathways into adulthood.
* Ensure that the voices of children and families inform every aspect of the service.
