Job Duties:
1. Delivering engaging and informative lessons to students across various age groups and subjects.
2. Adapting teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities.
3. Maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment in the classroom.
4. Managing classroom behaviour and ensuring a safe and secure learning environment.
5. Collaborating with other teachers and school staff to enhance the overall educational experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience in teaching or tutoring
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years teaching experience
Knowledge and Skills:
- In-depth understanding of educational principles and practises
- Ability to effectively manage classroom dynamics
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional teaching certifications or specialisations
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Knowledge of current educational technology tools
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with a flexible schedule
- Classroom-based teaching in various schools within the East of England
- Potential for travel to different locations for supply teaching assignments
- Collaboration with school staff and parents to support student learning and development
