Join a well-established training provider with a reputation for learner success and employee satisfaction. We’re seeking a motivated Apprenticeship Skills Coach to deliver high-impact, learner-centred support for Level 3-5 coaching professional and leadership apprenticeship programmes.

We are an independent vocational education training provider looking for positive, dynamic people to join our expanding team who want to help others progress through their apprenticeships. This is an exciting employment opportunity for candidates interested in delivering apprenticeships.


About the job

You will manage a remote caseload of learners, guiding them through their apprenticeship journey. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality coaching, tailored support, and regular progress tracking to ensure each learner reaches their full potential and successfully completes their programme.

Visiting learners in the workplace/remotely and training and assessing them as part of their Apprenticeship programme to ensure successful outcomes in line with contractual requirements and targets.


Key Responsibilities

* Coach and mentor learners on Level 3-5 Coaching Professional and Leadership/Management standards.
* Deliver engaging 1:1 coaching sessions and group learning via virtual platforms.
* Prepare learners for End-Point Assessment (EPA) and ensure timely achievement.
* Track progress and implement interventions where necessary to maintain engagement.
* Liaise with employers to ensure training aligns with business needs and apprenticeship criteria.
* Maintain accurate and compliant records in line with funding and Ofsted requirements.
* Provide pastoral support and motivation to learners facing challenges.
* Stay current with industry trends to enhance delivery and learner outcomes.
* Prepare, agree, and review assessment plans with each candidate.
* Create learner portfolios to agreed standards and ensure timely submission.
* Carry out learner visits at least monthly, either face-to-face or remotely, to provide support.
* Conduct employer visits to complete progress reviews.


Requirements for the successful Apprenticeship Trainer


What We’re Looking For

* Vocational expertise in management, leadership, and business, with a passion for coaching future leaders, managers, and business professionals, and supporting learners to thrive in their careers.
* Own transport and ability to cover the South if required (Remote delivery).
* Good written and verbal communication skills, able to relate well to staff and learners of all abilities.
* Ability to prioritise and manage workload, including travel to various locations for visits, training, and assessments.
* Ability and desire to deliver taught training sessions to groups and individuals regarding the full Apprenticeship standard, including Vocational Qualification.
* Organised and methodical approach to work.
* Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
* Self-motivated and team-oriented.
* Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE A-C or equivalent).
* TAQA or Assessors award (or willingness to work towards).
* Own NVQ/Apprenticeship L2 or L3 qualification is a plus but not essential.


Additional desirable experience:

* Proven experience coaching or training learners in apprenticeship or education settings.
* Experience delivering Coaching Professional Level 3-5 and/or leadership/management programmes.
* Recognised assessor qualification (e.g., CAVA, TAQA, A1).
