Overview
ASEL designs, develops and delivers security solutions, integrating people, technology and processes. Main Responsibilities
* Provide a visible deterrence on the shop floor and deter criminal activity
* Respond to incidents and complete incident reports
* Collaborate with local authorities as applicable
* Carry out guarding duties in-store
* Patrol the shop floor and assess vulnerabilities to minimise risk
* Liaise with management and local authorities when needed
* Manage vulnerable persons with empathy and without causing distress
* Conduct colleague and contractor searches in line with policy
* Digitally report incidents and use devices for daily activity planning
* Prepare detailed and legible incident reports to assist the client and local authorities
The Person
Confident communicator capable of providing detailed verbal and written accounts of criminal activity. Welcoming and patient with customers, able to handle conflict professionally.
Required Experience & Qualifications
* Valid SIA licence to apply
* Previous experience in retail security is an advantage but not essential; full training will be provided
* Ability to provide a full 5-year checkable work or education history
* Right-to-work documents and recent proof of address to be brought to interview if invited
* Current SIA Guarding or SIA Door Supervisor licence to apply
