Teaching Assistant
Location: Abergavenny
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £85.50 - £92.63 per day

The school places a strong emphasis on ensuring all pupils receive the individual support they need to thrive both academically and socially.
The school is looking to appoint a full-time Teaching Assistant to provide one-to-one support for a pupil with SEN. The successful Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher and external professionals to support learning, encourage engagement, and promote positive outcomes for the pupil throughout the school day.
The successful Teaching Assistant will have:
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant within a school setting
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN on a one-to-one basis
• A good understanding of a range of additional learning needs
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• The ability to remain calm and adaptable in challenging situations
• A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach
