About the Role: As a Food Technology Teacher , you will plan and deliver engaging lessons that develop students’ practical cooking skills, nutritional understanding and knowledge of food preparation and safety. You will create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages participation and supports students of varying abilities to achieve their potential. Responsibilities: Plan and deliver Food Technology lessons across KS3 and KS4 Assess, monitor and report on student progress Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management Ensure a safe and organised practical learning environment Prepare and manage resources and equipment effectively Support students to develop practical skills and subject knowledge Contribute to the wider life of the department and school Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching Food Technology within a secondary school setting Strong subject knowledge and practical teaching skills Ability to engage and motivate learners of different abilities Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing This is an excellent opportunity for a Food Technology Teacher in Sheffield to inspire students through practical learning while joining a supportive and forward-thinking school community.
