Clinical Trials at Buckinghamshire NHS Trust are expanding.
Looking forward, in line with the 10 year NHS plan and BHT's aspirations we are restructuring our Pharmacy Clinical Trial team to match our new requirements.
We know there is a demand for a broader range of trials and a shorter timeframe for setup to enable our patients to have every opportunity to be involved with research and the contributions it can bring to their care.
This Lead position will set the strategic direction of the Pharmacy department towards Clinical Trials, support the R+I team in achieving this vision and manage the Pharmacy trials team in its delivery.
Acting as a senior pharmacist you will support your colleagues with expertise and direction to ensure that services are operating efficiently.
Main duties of the job
Strategic Leadership for Pharmacy Clinical Trials
Leading on Pharmacy response and capability enhancement for ATIMP / GMO trials.
Line Management and Objective setting for the Pharmacy Clinical Trial Team.
Set and monitor KPI's for the service to ensure operational efficiency.
Supporting the delivery and day to day setup of Clinical Trials to ensure that these start on target and within National targets.
